TERMS
The rental
period is two months. Additional months may be added to existing rentals by contacting us at 412-734-1354.
The cost is $60
per month, with a commitment of two months. Rental package
includes 24 Fitted Diapers, 6 Mommy's Touch Newborn Diaper Covers, a bag
of cloth-friendly laundry detergent and 5 fleece diaper liners. Diapers will arrive prepped and ready to use.
If you wish to
launder the diapers less often, an additional 6 Fitteds and 1 cover
can be added to your rental for an additional $15 per month (add-on
requires an additional $30 deposit). If you feel you would like more diapers, contact us for pricing. We strongly suggest
that you never go longer than three days without washing your
diapers.
Total due upon
agreement is $240 ($120 Rental Fee, $120 Deposit). Upon return of the
diapers, you will receive your $120 deposit back in the form of a Happy Baby Company gift certificate (store credit).*
Please give us
at least three weeks notice before you'll need the diapers (paying for it is considered giving notice). We
may be able to accommodate you with less notice, but we absolutely
cannot make any promises. We have a limited number of Kissa fitteds available, so it's best to check with us to find out if a set will be available for the time you are seeking.
The rental
period starts one week after you receive them. We can arrange for local pick-up north of Pittsburgh. We can also ship or deliver them to you for a charge of $15. Any additional shipping costs over $15 will be deducted from your deposit. Please let us know if you'd like us to email you a return label to use, we will deduct the cost from your deposit and it will likely be less expensive for you due to our commercial shipping rates (it is definitely less than going to the counter at the post office, other shipping methods like UPS may vary)
Lost, damaged,
or unusable diapers will result in a $10 (each) deduction from the
return amount.
Lost, damaged,
or unusable diaper covers will result in a $9 (each) deduction from
the return amount.
You may only
use Happy Baby Company-approved detergent on the rental diapers
(listed on the website, or just ask us). We will provide you with
approximately 2-3 months' worth of cloth-friendly detergent. Customer
is responsible for all future detergent purchases. DO NOT use fabric
softener, stain treatments, or dryer sheets.
You may only
use Happy Baby Company-approved diaper rash creams on the rental
diapers (NO zinc oxide, petrolatum or fish oils. When in doubt, call
us.) You are responsible for all diaper rash cream purchases.
Other items you
may need (not included in rental): Pail Liner, Wet Bag(s), Wool Dryer
Balls and a Diaper Sprayer.
No discounts
may be used on this rental. You cannot use Rewards Points towards it,
nor do you earn them.
Once you have
the diapers in your possession, there are no returns for full
refunds. Rental packages that are returned early will be charged the
full two-month rental fee. We do not prorate the rental charges.
If you decide
to keep the diapers, or if you never return them, you will be charged
an additional $100 (charge increases if more than the basic package
was rented).
You will be
given a two day grace period to return your diapers (giving you a total
of three days to either return them or get them postmarked). If you are
shipping them, they must be postmarked by the last day of the grace
period at the latest. Late returns will result in a late charge equal
to one month's rental fee (deducted from deposit). Returned diapers
must be clean/washed.
*The $120 store credit may not be combined with any discounts, and will be less any charges for shipping costs or lost/damaged items.
